Donna Mills, Corbin Bernsen and Robin Givens. The Kaufman Company recently produced the critically acclaimed and award winning movie, RUN THE WILD FIELDS. The movie stars
Joanne Whalley, Sean Patrick Flanery and Alexa Vega. The Kaufman Company produced this film with Hallmark Entertainment for Showtime. It also just wrapped production on JEWEL for CBS. JEWEL
is based on Bret Lott's New York Times best selling novel. The movie stars Farrah Fawcett, Patrick Bergin and Cicely Tyson. It is scheduled to air early 2001. The Kaufman Company also produced the Showtime series
HARVEY SHINE PRESENTS and HOLLYWOOD ANTHOLOGIES. It produced LOVER'S KNOT, a romantic comedy feature film starring Tim Curry, Jennifer Grey and Bill Campbell.
The Kaufman Company currently has over 20 hours of primetime movies in development. The Kaufman Company recently signed a first look deal with Landscape
Entertainment, headed by Bob Cooper. Most recently Cooper served as Head of Production for Dreamworks, where the first movie of his production slate was AMERICAN BEAUTY, which earned Academy
Awards for Best Picture, Best Directing, Best Original Screenplay, Best Actor and Best Cinematography, among eight nominations, along with the Golden Globe for Best Picture.
In 1978 Cooper founded Citadel Entertainment which built an outstanding reputation due in part to its dedication to producing an impressive volume of high-quality, award-winning films featuring the
work of the industry's top writers, directors and stars. The company's filmography included award winning titles, such as GIA for HBO, starring Angelina Jolie; BUFFALO SOLDIERS for TNT, starring Danny Glover;
RASPUTIN for HBO, starring Alan Rickman, Ian McKellen and Greta Scacchi; HIDDEN IN AMERICA for Showtime, starring Beau Bridges; and CITIZEN X for HBO, starring Donald Sutherland.
In 1991 Cooper sold Citadel to HBO and began a new position as President of HBO Pictures. He was widely credited for turning the nascent cable network into a major force in original programming, his
projects winning a Best Picture Emmy and Golden Globe Awards five years in a row. Among titles produced during his seven-year tenure: BARBARIANS AT THE GATE, AND THE BAND PLAYED ON and THE

THE MASK OF ZORRO and JERRY MCGUIRE. In March of 2000, Cooper started Landscape Entertainment as a premiere producer of high quality entertainment. Landscape has
secured $33 million of equity investment from CTV, Canada's largest private broadcaster, owning 25 broadcast stations across Canada. CTV was recently acquired by BCE (Bell Canada), Canada's largest
communications company. Landscape Entertainment has already secured key agreements with NBC and FX, a division of 20th Century Fox to develop television movies and
miniseries. In the internet arena, Landscape has aligned itself with MP3.com to bring unique content to the widest possible audience over the web. |
